For each piece, we fused two large sheets around the silhouette of an animal, creating a cavity that would later be filled to produce a high-relief form.

The lightweight material allowed us to hike deep into the Val del Tasso. After selecting our location, we laid out the sheets and packed the cavities with moss and soil gathered on site. Gravity and the contours of the landscape determined the final gesture of each animal.

Per ogni opera abbiamo termosaldato due grandi teli seguendo la sagoma di un animale, creando una cavità destinata a essere riempita per ottenere una forma ad alto rilievo.

La leggerezza del materiale ci ha permesso di addentrarci nella Val del Tasso. Dopo aver scelto il luogo, abbiamo steso i teli vuoti e riempito le cavità con muschio e terra raccolti sul posto. La gravità e l’andamento del terreno hanno modellato il gesto finale di ciascun animale.
