No adhesives, just heat, surface manipulation, and tension, going for the vibe of an old iron-on tee shirt. The flesh-tone strip is fused onto flat fabric. When stretched onto the wooden form, it splits, breaks and peels, but still holds.

The heat-treated plastic is my own color mix, and the hemp is salvaged from a military cot.
